Business <strong>negotiation and lobbying<\/strong> will then be examined within the framework of globalization and the need for intercultural awareness and sensitivity to break down cultural barriers.\r\n\r\nFinally, the role of language in human interaction and identity will be examined with special reference to the role and status of English Language as a <em>Lingua Franca<\/em> of our times and its far-reaching implications.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;","programme":"The content of the course consists of ten <strong>units<\/strong>:\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Introduction to intercultural communication in business and politics<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Obstacles &amp; barriers to intercultural communication<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ethics in intercultural communication<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Negotiation and Mediation in business and politics.
