The second edition of the Forum of European Universities Alliances will take place in Barcelona (Spain) and gather representatives from the university alliances (as EUNICE), the European Commission, the Member States and students.<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union is promoting the celebration of the 2nd Forum of European University Alliances<\/strong> on 14th and 15th September<\/strong> in Barcelona. The goal is to open up a space for dialogue and exchange of ideas around the most important issues currently affecting European alliances. It will take place in the district of Sant Andreu, at the old Fabra i Coats<\/em> textile mill, dating from the beginning of the 20th century and used today as a space for creativity.<\/p>\n

Today it is close to achieving its goal of 60 alliances, covering 500 universities, by mid-2024.<\/p>\n

The purpose of establishing long-term strategic alliances between European universities is to promote the identity and values of Europe, as well as excellence and transformation. Thus, from the outset, the Initiative has proposed alliances that quest for innovation and seek to go beyond conventional boundaries.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]\n
