A Unique Innovation Ecosystem in Belgium<\/strong><\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Organized by UMONS\u2019\u00a0Department for Research Support and Technology Transfer<\/u><\/a>, this annual event showcases a unique ecosystem in Belgium. The UMONS Innovation Network<\/strong><\/u><\/a> is an initiative launched by the University of Mons to foster collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship<\/strong>. It includes accredited research centres, spin-offs, alumni, businesses, socio-economic actors, and local and regional institutions.\u00a0Among the partners forming this network, are UMONS\u2019 five innovation centres: Materia Nova<\/strong>, Multitel<\/strong>, C3E2D<\/strong>, BCRC<\/strong>, and the CLICK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Showcasing EUNICE’s Opportunities and Groundbreaking Technologies<\/strong><\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]One of the key highlights of this year\u2019s edition was the presence of the EUNICE alliance (European University for Customised Education)<\/strong>. EUNICE took the opportunity to actively promote its internship platform<\/u><\/a>, which already includes over 200 companies and institutions offering internships<\/strong> in a variety of fields.\u00a0By simplifying the process of securing placements abroad, the platform reinforces EUNICE\u2019s mission of fostering international mobility and enhancing student employability.<\/p>\n

EUNICE also had the pleasure of presenting a selection of cutting-edge technologies<\/strong>, highlighting the alliance\u2019s commitment to innovation<\/strong> and sustainability<\/strong>. Some of the featured\u00a0projects\u00a0included:<\/p>\n

    \n<\/em>A flagship concept of Smart4ALL, this one-stop smart-shop connects experts and non-experts with open-source ICT technologies across four thematic areas: digitized agriculture, environment, transport, and \u201canything\u201d.<\/li>\n
