The second and third places went to Pedro Jose Zambudio Marin from the Universite Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (France), and to Vinet Tristan, from University of Mons (Belgium), respectively.<\/p>\n

The tournament was streamed live on Facebook and participated in by a couple of hundred members of the university community within the EUNICE alliance, including students, PhD candidates and staff members.<\/p>\n

The E-Chess tournament 2025 was organised by Poznan University of Technology as part of EUNICE\u2019s celebration of the European Month. On 9 May, Europe Day, the Schuman Declaration is commemorated as a symbol of a shared vision for a united Europe and of the promotion of peace, democracy, and cooperation among European nations.
