The seven partner universities met to share expertise and to start collaborative networks in doctoral education within the alliance<\/h3>\r\nEUNICE has held its second Doctoral Education meeting in which Heads of Postgraduate and Doctoral Schools, officers and PhD programme directors from each partner university shared their expertise and their willingness to share doctoral training. In line with the international projection of pre-doctoral research, the development of a PhD network within EUNICE has become a strategic point on the path to excellence in the consortium.\r\n\r\nAiming at creating synergies and a common network for doctorate programmes within the alliance, the seven EUNICE universities will start by building the EUNICE Doctoral Education platform to bring together all the resources that the partners have in common. Once this platform is set up, it will be possible \u201cto start working on the development of more ambitious projects such as the creation of a joint doctoral programme,\u201d reports Mar Marcos, head of the Doctoral School at the University of Cantabria (UC-EDUC).\r\n\r\nEUNICE Doctoral Education aims also at enhancing the mobility of PhD students, supervisors and administrative staff in order to facilitate mutual learning, employment and cooperation opportunities.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n
