This Spanish university welcomes six new members to its local EUNICE Student Volunteer Group, which has grown to 13 students that help to engage with their peers and provide input on how to enhance the alliance actions<\/em><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_video link=\u00bbhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/4Ion-A4OS-U\u00bb el_width=\u00bb60″][vc_column_text]The University of Cantabria<\/a><\/span> (UC-Spain) welcomed six new members to its local EUNICE Student Volunteer Group, a group made of UC students who collaborate in the different EUNICE activities taking place within the EUNICE network, either at UC or abroad. The UC-EUNICE Student Volunteer Group welcomed these new volunteers in the second call, growing up to thirteen members.<\/p>\n

The aim of this volunteer group is to involve its members in the dissemination of this alliance and the enhancement and dynamisation of EUNICE activities among the UC student community, such as shared virtual courses, physical mobility periods in other universities of the alliance, access to international internships in the alliance countries, etc.). To this end, the volunteer group is composed by a representative sample of the student body, taking into consideration: gender, educational level (Bachelor, Master or PhD) and the areas of studies present in this university.<\/p>\n

Since its establishment in April 2022, this group has met regularly and has also been a means to support the local EUNICE team at UC in the design and development of activities and events such as the interviews during EUNICE General Assembly<\/a><\/span> hosted by UC, UC International Day<\/a><\/span>, the EUNICE Weeks<\/a><\/span> or the EUNICE Student Advisory Board meeting in Poland<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

All of this, in order to serve the European values and partnership, in an opportunity to work as a team on an international project and to participate in the creation of a European University called to be the model for the European Higher Education of the future.
