This event was aimed at promoting the exchange of experiences and ideas by bringing together researchers and professors in the area of Operations and Technology in a working environment with a forum for academic and research discussion.<\/p>\n

Lidia S\u00e1nchez, Prof. of Business Administration and Director of EUNICE Research (Reunice) Area at the University of Cantabria (Spain) introduced the EUNICE European University alliance and its H2020 project, Reunice (EUNICE Research<\/em>), highlighting the Reunice Joint Action Plan on Human Resources Strategy for Researchers<\/em> initiative. The Joint Action Plan in HRS4R \u00a0is the first step of the implementation of this HR strategy promoted by the European Commission<\/a><\/span> in all the EUNICE partner universities by fostering the engagement of each EUNICE member and coordinating their tactics for more unified HR processes and exchange of researchers and staff.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]About EUNICE and Reunice<\/strong><\/p>\n

EUNICE, the European University for Customised Education<\/a><\/span>, is designed to solve social and economic challenges, both globally and locally. In 2020, EUNICE was selected during the second call for pilot projects of European Universities of the European Commission. The alliance is nurtured by ten universities\u2019 intellectual and infrastructure input \u2013Pozna\u0144 University of Technology<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Poland),\u00a0Brandenburg University of Technology<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Germany),\u00a0University of Cantabria<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Spain),\u00a0University of Mons<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Belgium),\u00a0University of Catania<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Italy),\u00a0Universit\u00e9 Polytechnique Hauts-de-France<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(France),\u00a0University of Vaasa<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Finland),\u00a0Polytechnic Institute of Viseu<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Portugal),\u00a0University of Peloponnese<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Greece) and\u00a0University of Karlstad<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Sweden)\u2013.<\/p>\n

This alliance, born from the European Universities initiative and funded by the European Commission, is building a solid network of interactions between educational institutions and other agents to work on social and economic challenges.<\/p>\n

EUNICE Research (Reunice project)<\/a><\/span> was born in October 2021, funded by the EU\u2019s H2020 Research and Innovation Programme, to align research and innovation agendas within the alliance. At the core of it lie the following objectives: to enhance human capital by implementing best practices, to share research infrastructures, to foster inclusivity and equality, to promote open science and cooperation between universities and other non-academic sectors.<\/p>\n
