The goal is to connect education, research and industry across Europe and speed up the shift to sustainable mobility in our territories.<\/p>\r\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph -->The programme\u00a0runs over two days. <strong>Day 1, \u201cPolicy &amp; Strategic Synergies\u201d<\/strong>, examines the strategic and policy dimensions of the transition &#8211;\u00a0building on the region\u2019s industrial heritage to lead in Europe, large-scale decarbonisation technologies, the future of car-dependent territories, and what sustainable mobility requires across energy, social acceptance, the circular economy and health. <strong>Day 2, \u201cSynergy Builders\u201d<\/strong>,\u00a0looks at how this happens in practice: the role of European Universities in transforming their territories, the transfer of research into innovation, the skills and education needed for the transition, and the views of younger generations.
