While European alliances offer professors and researchers new opportunities for collaboration, they may face obstacles related to workload, recognition, mobility arrangements and institutional constraints.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting brought together academics who shared their experiences, followed by a panel of administrative representatives discussing ways to better support and value academic engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Erica Di Caro, Academic Affairs Officer for EUNICE at the University of Mons (UMONS), participated in the panel alongside representatives of the UNIC and UNIgreen alliances.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis event also provided an opportunity to observe that, despite the diversity of our institutions and partnerships, we face very similar experiences and challenges when it comes to engaging the academic community in the long term.
