It is organised with the EUNICE European University Alliance and supported by <a href=\"https:\/\/centev.ufv.br\/en\/\">tecnoPARQ<\/a> \u2013 Vi\u00e7osa Technology Park. From <strong>13 to 15 October 2026<\/strong>, international teams will work together on one of today&rsquo;s key questions in science and innovation: how to strengthen the participation, inclusion and advancement of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The hackathon is part of the official programme of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sia.ufv.br\/\">2026 Academic Integration Symposium at UFV<\/a> (SIA UFV 2026). This year the symposium&rsquo;s theme is <em>\u00ab\u00a0Ci\u00eancia Delas\u00a0\u00bb \u2013 Science by Women<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Who can participate?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s, Master&rsquo;s and PhD students enrolled at UFV or at a EUNICE partner university<\/li>\n<li>Students from any field of study, because different perspectives make stronger solutions<\/li>\n<li>Participants with good English who can take part on all three days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>How does it work?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Participants register individually. The organisers then form <strong>teams of four<\/strong>, mixing students from different universities, countries and disciplines. Over three days, each team goes through a structured innovation journey:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Challenge \u2192 Validation \u2192 Business Model Canvas \u2192 MVP \u2192 Pitch \u2192 Demo Day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Expert talks and workshops take place on Google Meet. Teamwork and mentoring happen in a dedicated Discord community.<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Programme<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li><strong>Tuesday 13 October:<\/strong> opening, presentation of the challenges, and validating the problem<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday 14 October:<\/strong> business model, from concept to MVP (a first prototype), and pitch preparation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thursday 15 October:<\/strong> Demo Day with final team pitches at 15:30 CEST, followed by the evaluation and announcement of results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Live sessions start at 15:00 CEST (11:00 in Brazil).
