King F<\/em>elipe VI of Spain stated that the new academic year presents \u201cvarious challenges to be faced\u201d and <\/em>University of Cantabria\u2019s Rector \u00c1ngel Pazos explained that <\/em>UC\u2019s \u201cjoining to EUNICE in 2020 is the best example of its universal perspective and is also a<\/em> clear commitment to the future\u201d<\/em><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]King Felipe VI of Spain presided the official inauguration of the 2023-2024 academic year in Spanish universities at the University of Cantabria (Spain). In the presence of 28 rectors of Spanish universities and 500 members of the university community, government and social agents attended the event, Felipe VI congratulated the University of Cantabria on its 50th anniversary and also indicated that the new academic year presents \u201cvarious challenges to be faced.\u201d In this line, University of Cantabria\u2019s Rector \u00c1ngel Pazos explained what European Universities like EUNICE mean, highlighting that they aim to \u201crevolutionise the quality and competitiveness of European higher education\u201d as well as \u201cto help train students so that they get highly Europeanised people able to face all European challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n
