It will be offered by the University of Karlstad (Sweden) to professors of all EUNICE partner universities and will consist of two phases, the first of which will begin in September with the involvement of pedagogical managers, developers and engineers from the various pedagogical centres of EUNICE universities, who will later support the second phase that will involve teachers. Even though registrations are already closed<\/strong>, further calls for applications may come.<\/p>\n

This course is the first of a series of pedagogical innovation\u00a0offerings<\/strong> for 2024-2025<\/a> designed to empower professors of EUNICE partner universities with useful and up-to-date tools and knowledge for improving their teaching. From mastering online teaching platforms to exploring innovative teaching models and enhancing cross-cultural communication, this series of courses, webinars, and workshops aims to provide professors with further skills for today’s educational landscape.<\/p>\n

This initiative will help teachers learn more about digital classrooms, new tools and methodologies for capturing students’ attention and also to share experiences and challenges with other colleagues. The organisers instisted on this course’s importance for “pedagogical improvement and career motivation.”<\/p>\n

The course has been running for over 10 years, having been initiated in 2012 by Lars Uhlin and Maria Knvarnostrom from the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) and Chrissi Nerantzi from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom). This course fosters international and inter-institutional collaboration and reduce the need to run separate courses at each of the institutions.
