EUNICE brings together mathematicians from five different countries for a digital experience exchange<\/h3>\r\n

Organised by BTU, the 1st EUNICE Symposium on Pure and Applied Mathematics will be held online on 7th July\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

About 40 scientists from University of Cantabria (Spain), University of Catania (Italy), University of Mons (Belgium), Universit\u00e9 Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (France) and Brandenburg\u00a0University of Technology (Germany) will take part in the 1st EUNICE Online Symposium on Pure and Applied Mathematics, which will take place on 7th July from 8 am to 6.30 pm. This symposium combines general talks by the participating universities about their institution and the professional orientation of the respective departments with 32 specialised scientific lectures from different areas of Mathematics.<\/p>\r\n

The impetus for this event was provided by the Institute of Mathematics at the BTU, which is also organising the symposium – in charge are Professor Armin F\u00fcgenschuh and the Department of Engineering Mathematics and Numerical Optimisation.<\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\r\n

The event intends to help participants present projects and subject areas of their interest and expertise, in order to seek international cooperation with academics from partner universities.
