This transnational Massive Open Online Course on Global Studies aims at increasing students\u2019 knowledge on global issues from an interdisciplinary perspective<\/h4>\r\n

A year and a half after EUNICE project started in the mist of the pandemic, several academics and officers were able to work in person for the first time in a workshop hosted by the University of Cantabria (Spain)<\/h4>\r\nMore than twenty members from the partner universities allied in the EUNICE European Project have met yesterday in Santander (Spain) to participate in the international Workshop \u201cMOOC on Global Studies\u201d. Hosted by the University of Cantabria<\/a><\/span>, this is the first face-to-face academic event that gathers the seven institutions together, enabling its attendees to share expertise and knowledge in order to design a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) \u201cIntroduction to Global Studies\u201d.\r\n\r\nThis course is planned to be launched in the academic year 2022-23 and aims to increase students\u2019 knowledge on global issues from an interdisciplinary perspective, exploring globalisation through the analysis of specific topics such as cultural diversity, migration or technology, among many others.\r\n\r\nWithin EUNICE\u2019s framework of multiculturalism and openness, this MOOC will be accessible to students from all over the world, independently of their area of studies, and will provide them with knowledge on cultural, economic, legal, environmental, political, social, and technological phenomena in a global world and the main challenges facing global society today.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\nPicture: atendees to the workshop at the University of Cantabria (Santander-Spain).<\/span>\r\n
