Posters in digital format can be submmited until 1st September, 2022.<\/h4>\n

This contest will begin a series of science dissemination events within the framework of EUNICE Research (Reunice)<\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The beginning of the academic year 2022-23 brings EUNICE a series of science dissemination activities within the framework of EUNICE Research (Reunice)<\/a><\/span> of which the first one will be organised by the University of Mons. This Belgian institution will celebrate, on 6th September, the 11th edition of its ‘Tuesday for researchers’<\/span>, an annual scientific event in which professionals of diverse reasearch fields within UMONS and institutions nearby have the opportunity to meet each other and to exchange knowledge and share expertise.<\/p>\n

As part of this event, UMONS organises its Scientific Poster Contest<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, which is open to any researcher working at a EUNICE university with a specific new category for EUNICE.<\/p>\n

To take part in the contest, researchers must send their posters in digital format, as well as in English language, next to their contact details, before 1st September via e-mail to mdc@umons.ac.be<\/a><\/span>. The posters will be printed and displayed by the organisation among those of the UMONS researchers.<\/p>\n

Candidates will be invited to present their work and meet the authors of other posters in an online session that will take place via Teams on 6th September from 10:45 to 12:00, an opportunity to get to know other lines of research within the EUNICE research community. The winner will receive a voucher to be used in the context of a mobility in one of the countries where one of the EUNICE universities is present (Spain, Finland, France, Poland, Italy, Germany and Belgium).<\/p>\n

This series of scientific dissemination events will continue on 30th September in Pozna\u0144 University of Technology<\/a><\/span> (Poland), the University of Cantabria (Spain) and the University of Catania<\/span> (Italy) which will celebrate the European Researchers’ Night<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

About the ‘Tuesday for researchers’ at UMONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Created two decades ago, each edition of the ‘Tuesday for researchers’ has evolved more and more scientists of the University of Mons<\/span><\/a> and, since 2015, the Polytechnic University Hauts-de-France<\/span><\/a> joined the event and even hosted it in several occasions.<\/p>\n

About EUNICE<\/strong><\/p>\n

EUNICE, the European University for Customised Education<\/a><\/span> is nurtured by seven universities\u2019 intellectual and infrastructure input \u2013Pozna\u0144 University of Technology<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(Poland),\u00a0Brandenburg University of Technology<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Germany),\u00a0University of Cantabria<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Spain),\u00a0University of Mons<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Belgium),\u00a0University of Catania<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Italy),\u00a0Universit\u00e9 Polytechnique Hauts-de-France<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>(France) and University of Vaasa<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(Finland)\u2013.<\/p>\n

This alliance, born from the European Universities initiative and funded by the European Commission, is building a solid network between educational institutions and other agents to work on social and economic challenges.<\/p>\n

EUNICE Research (Reunice project)<\/a><\/span> was born in October 2021, funded by the EU’s H2020 Research and Innovation Programme, to align research and innovation agendas within the alliance.
