Polish for Beginners (Spring edition)

POLISH FOR BEGINNERS.- During the course the student will learn the very basic words and phrases of Polish in different everyday situations, such as greetings, numbers, phrases connected with studying, everyday practical situations like shopping, food, going to a café/restaurant/bar, etc. They will also get information about Polish culture and society: national idiosyncrasies and formal vs informal language. Basic information about Poznan University of Technology (Poland) and possibilities to deepen the language skills while in Poland.

The course will provide:

  • Practice of receptive skills and strategies needed to manage everyday situations in Polish.
  • Motivation of students to deepen their skills in Polish.
  • Understanding of culturally significant factors.

Timetable:

First online meeting on 13 March 2026, 18:00 CET. Rest of the course: self-study.

  • EUNICE student: enrolled as a student (Bachelor, Masters or PhD) in one of the universities of EUNICE European University consortium (check its members here).
  • EUNICE staff: people working at one of the universities of EUNICE European University consortium (check its members here).
