Thus, people will be able to interact with EUNICE scientists from different research fields in Pozna\u0144, Cantabria and Catania.\r\n\r\nThe beginning of this new academic year brought EUNICE universities a series of science dissemination events that started at the <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/web.umons.ac.be\/en\/\">University of Mons<\/a><\/span> (Belgium) with the <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/mdc.umons.ac.be\/\">Tuesday for Researchers<\/a><\/span>, handing over to the European Researchers\u2019 Night in Poland, Spain and Italy\u00a0and, later on, to the <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.b-tu.de\/en\/\">Brandenburg University of Technology<\/a><\/span> in Germany, with the <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ndkk.de\/programm\/programdetails\/227.html\">Night of Creative Minds<\/a><\/span>, an event that will take place on 15<sup>th<\/sup> October.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.poznan.nocnaukowcow.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">Pozna\u0144 University of Tecnology \u2013 Noc Naukowc\u00f3w.<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThe <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.poznan.nocnaukowcow.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Noc Naukowc\u00f3w<\/a><\/span>, or Researchers\u2019 Night, is the largest popular science event in the Polish region of Wielkopolska. The programme includes competitions, workshops, demonstrations and visits to laboratories. The presence of over 400 scientists from the <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.put.poznan.pl\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pozna\u0144 University of Technology<\/a><\/span> will be an opportunity to watch live scientific experiences such as, for example, a presentation of <strong>mobile robots<\/strong> or an analysis of brain reactions to popular advertising spots, based on biofeedback like <strong>facereading<\/strong> or eyetracking, 3D scanning and printing and many more.\r\n\r\nDuring the Noc Naukowc\u00f3w, Reunice Project and EUNICE stands will also be present. The visitors of the event will be able to learn how mobility, learning and research is promoted among scientists and university students of the alliance, through participation in quizzes related to the EUNICE European University. About 300 scientists will gather in the centre of Santander city to offer science shows, worshops, gymkhanas, quizs talks and other activities targeted to children and adults, in family or on their own. The Scientific Culture Office remarks that a series of exhibitions will take place, starting with a collaborative activity to learn how <strong>black holes<\/strong> work. Then, the two winning animated videos of this year\u2019s \u2018#PhDenlaUC Contest\u2019 will be displayed and commented by the scientists involved in this projects.\r\n\r\nEUNICE Research (REUNICE) will have its own booth to showcase its work on supporting research and interactive activities to know the opportunities this alliance and its Reunice project related to topics such as research <strong>career<\/strong> development, <strong>collaboration with industry<\/strong> and non-academic sectors, <strong>inclusivity<\/strong> or <strong>open science.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_video link=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/1m4vrpgg5F4&#8243; el_width=&#8221;70&#8243;][vc_column_text]\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sharper-night.it\/\">University of Catania<\/a><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sharper-night.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0\u2013 Sharper Night.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nAfter two editions impacted by the pandemic, the University of Catania, among other Italian universites, will celebrate the so-called <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sharper-night.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sharper Night &#8211; European Researchers&#8217; Night<\/a><\/span>, an international event dedicated to <strong>dialogue between research and citizens<\/strong>. This year, a festive invasion of researchers will enliven events for all ages, which will take place not only in laboratories but also in the <strong>streets, squares and theaters of 14 Italian cities<\/strong> to create a unique opportunity for researchers and citizens to meet.\r\n\r\nInspired by the <strong>five missions<\/strong> of Horizon Europe (<em>climate adaptation, fighting cancer, safeguarding the seas, promoting the sustainable and smart cities of the future, and implementing citizen science projects<\/em>) the programme includes performances, concerts, tours, workshops, conferences, demonstrations and open labs, physical and digital exhibits, games and quizzes, as well as the usual <strong>online marathon<\/strong>. At the core of it lie the following objectives: to enhance human capital by implementing best practices, to share research infrastructures, to foster inclusivity and equality, to promote open science and cooperation between universities and other non-academic sectors.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;in_container&#8221;
