Minister Diana Morant learned about two sustainable energy projects aimed at reusing and reducing CO2 carried out at the Spanish university<\/em><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Spanish Minister for Science and Innovation, Diana Morant, toured the laboratories of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering of the University of Cantabria<\/a><\/span> (Spain), where Chemical Engineering researchers explained to her the status and development of two sustainable energy projects.<\/p>\n

Minister Morant learned about these projects, aimed at generating biofuels from hydrogen and CO2, in one case, and at the use of hydrogen in the industrial sector to reduce CO2 emissions, in the other.\u00a0Both research projects are part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, established by the Spanish Government with the aim of rebuilding the economy and employment after the COVID-19 crisis.<\/p>\n

During her visit, Minister Morant was accompanied by Rector \u00c1ngel Pazos and several represenatatives from national and regional governments and from the university itself.
