European University Alliances: Where Local Roots Meet Global Innovation<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]The Academy of Research and Higher Education <\/span>(ARES), in Belgium, organized a hybrid event titled European Universities: Between Local and Innovation<\/strong><\/em>. Celebrated on December 12, 2024, it gathered in Brussels key stakeholders to explore the role of European university alliances in shaping both local communities and the broader academic landscape through innovative initiatives.<\/p>\n

Rony Snyders<\/strong>, EUNICE Project Leader at the University of Mons<\/strong>, explained the particularity of EUNICE European University while underligning that EUNICE is particularly committed to supportting students from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. He also mentioned a number of initiatives put in place by the alliance.
