Consortia with members from at least three EUNICE universities may obtain specific support for drafting the proposal.<\/h4>\n

EUNICE<\/span><\/a> European University invites the research groups of the unieversities of the Alliance to apply for the MSCA Doctoral Networks 2022<\/a><\/span> call. This open call in the framework of the European Programme Horizon aims to fund international, intersectorial and interdisciplinary consortia for recruitment and training of doctoral research staff.<\/p>\n

The initiative is part of the line of action dedicated to \u201cTraining, Research & Development for Industry-oriented problems\u201d. In order to encourage the creation of such networks within EUNICE, formed at least by three EUNICE universities, the Alliance will offer specific support for the drafting of the proposal and application to the European Commission, through the Project Office of the University of Catania<\/a><\/span> (Italy).<\/p>\n

This support will include assistance with both, the general aspects of the proposal \u2013consortium structure, work packages, evaluation, dissemination and development, communication activities, hosting commitments\u2026\u2013, as well as with training in transversal competences, company search for industrial doctorates and collaboration from EUNICE member universities\u2019 doctoral schools for joint doctorates.<\/p>\n

Associated research groups within EUNICE Alliance interested in applying as a consortium shall send an e-mail to a eunice@unict.it<\/a><\/span> before 15th September 2022, with the subject \u201cMSCA-DN 2022 call\u201d, attaching details regarding applicant research groups, the abstract and topic of research.<\/p>\n

EUNICE<\/strong><\/p>\n

EUNICE, the European University for Customised Education<\/a><\/span> is nurtured by seven universities\u2019 intellectual and infrastructure input \u2013Pozna\u0144 University of Technology<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(Poland),\u00a0Brandenburg University of Technology<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Germany),\u00a0University of Cantabria<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Spain),\u00a0University of Mons<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Belgium),\u00a0University of Catania<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Italy),\u00a0Universit\u00e9 Polytechnique Hauts-de-France<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>(France) and University of Vaasa<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(Finland)\u2013.<\/p>\n

This alliance, born from the European Universities initiative and funded by the European Commission, is building a solid network of interactions between educational institutions and other agents to work on social and economic challenges.<\/p>\n

In order to do so, in the field of research, EUNICE develops several lines of work, -enhanced by a second European Project, EUNICE Research (REUNICE)-, including the co-supervision of doctoral theses, the development of shared platforms of research resources and the general promotion of research projects within the alliance under the umbrella of European values such us inclusivity and sustainability.<\/p>\n

Doctoral training<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of the doctoral networks within the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions is to enhance attractiveness and excellence of doctoral training in Europe by promoting the right mix of scientific-technical and transfer competences with innovation and employability.<\/p>\n

The deadline for applying to 2022 call is 15th November.<\/p>\n
