Speak English Through Art and Storytelling

Course content:

Speak English Through Art & Storytelling is an engaging course designed to improve students’ English communication skills through the exploration of visual art and storytelling techniques. Students will use artwork, folktales, and narratives from different cultures to develop vocabulary, critical thinking, and fluency in English. The course emphasizes creative expression, intercultural understanding, and the development of oral and written communication through hands-on activities.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this course, students will be able to describe different types of artworks in English, including paintings, sculptures, and artefacts, using appropriate vocabulary and expressions. They will develop the ability to interpret and discuss the meaning, emotions, and cultural contexts behind visual art.
