\r\n\r\nThe University of Cantabria<\/a><\/span> (Spain) held the Jean Monnet workshop on The European Universities alliances: challenges and opportunities for students<\/em> on 29th November 2022 at 3 pm (CET).\r\n\r\nThe keynote address<\/strong><\/span> was given by Vanessa Debiais-Sainton<\/strong>, Head of Higher Education at the European Commission<\/strong>, who explained why the European Commission is promoting European university alliances as a strategic element within the European integration project, and the ways in which this promotion is articulated.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\nThis was followed by a round table<\/span><\/strong> discussion on the opportunities offered to students by EUNICE alliance. Speakers from several of the EUNICE universities addressed different topics in which they specialise:\r\n
