EUNICE representatives met to discuss the Excellence <\/em>Programme<\/em> in Cybersecurity as well as other possibilities of joint research cooperation<\/em><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Pozna\u0144 University of Technology (Poland) held the meeting on Cybersecurity for and with EUNICE<\/em>, which was organised as part of the EUNICE European University project and the project of Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange – Strategic Partnership Programme (NAWA), whose beneficiaries are, in addition to Pozna\u0144 University of Technology, the University of Mons (Belgium), the University of Catania (Italy) and Brandenburg University of Technology (Germany). The first two days were dedicated to develop a joint education profile in the field of Cybersecurity, one of the EUNICE Excellence Programmes. During the meeting, obligatory and elective subjects were established, which were then divided into modules. Discussions were also held about the lecturers who will jointly carry out various subjects and who will jointly arrange a detailed course plan (Course Description Card) in the near future.<\/p>\n

Several representatives of EUNICE partner universities took part in the meeting on behalf of University of Catania, University of Mons, University of Cantabria (Spain), University of Vaasa (Finland), Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (Portugal) and Karlstad University (Sweden).<\/p>\n

The last day of the meeting was dedicated to discuss the cooperation aiming at obtaining European grants and the implementation of joint scientific research. Representatives of all universities presented their activity profiles and currently implemented projects, as well as proposals for new research topics. The possibilities of applying for joint grants were analysed and research and projects carried out in the area of Cybersecurity at Pozna\u0144 University of Technology were presented.<\/p>\n

Part of the discussion was about communication actions around the outcomes of the alliances and closer cooperation among alliances and between alliances and their ecosystems. As an example of good practice, the recent creation of a network of communication and dissemination of the alliances was highlighted: the FOR-EU Newsletter<\/a><\/span> was launched and will be issued every three months, open to the participation of all the alliances through their communication coordinators.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]About EUNICE<\/strong><\/p>\n

EUNICE, the European University for Customised Education, is nurtured by ten universities\u2019 intellectual and infrastructure input \u2013Pozna\u0144 University of Technology<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Poland),\u00a0Brandenburg University of Technology<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(Germany),\u00a0University of Cantabria<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Spain),\u00a0University of Mons<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Belgium),\u00a0University of Catania<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Italy),\u00a0Universit\u00e9 Polytechnique Hauts-de-France<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(France),\u00a0University of Vaas<\/span>a<\/a>\u00a0(Finland),\u00a0Polytechnic Institute of Viseu<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Portugal),\u00a0University of Peloponnese<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Greece) and\u00a0University of Karlstad<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Sweden)\u2013.<\/p>\n

This alliance, born from the European Universities initiative and funded by the European Commission, is building a solid network of interactions between educational institutions and other agents to work on social and economic challenges.
