June 2026<\/strong>, the EUNICE community is invited to come together for <strong data-start=\"161\" data-end=\"179\">EUNICE Running Day<\/strong>, a joint initiative promoting wellbeing, connection, and an active lifestyle across the alliance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"279\" data-end=\"632\">Students, academic staff, and non-academic staff from all EUNICE universities are encouraged to participate in this special event by joining a <strong data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"447\">walk or run challenge<\/strong> in their local area.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"683\">Participants can choose their preferred distance:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"930\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1qzpmk6\" data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"788\"><strong data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"694\">5 km<\/strong> \u2013 ideal for walkers, beginners, and anyone looking to enjoy the experience at their own pace;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1bvcqni\" data-start=\"789\" data-end=\"850\"><strong data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"800\">10 km<\/strong> \u2013 for those looking for a more challenging route;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"672njs\" data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"930\"><strong data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"878\">21 km (Half Marathon)<\/strong> \u2013 for experienced runners ready to go even further.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the <strong data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"516\">Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico de Viseu (IPV)<\/strong>, participants will gather at the <strong data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"580\">Ecopista de Viseu at 18:00<\/strong>\u00a0for an inclusive outdoor activity open to everyone.<\/p>\n<p>To all participants from other universities, feel free to choose where you want to run or walk \u2013 outdoors, on a treadmill at the gym, whatever you prefer!<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"1172\">More than a sports event, EUNICE Running Day is an opportunity to strengthen the sense of belonging within our European university alliance, encouraging healthy habits while connecting members of the EUNICE community across different countries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1542\">To make this initiative visible across all partner universities, participants are strongly encouraged to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1542\">join the <strong data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1326\">Strava group \u201cEUNICE Running Club\u201d<\/strong> and upload their activities and photos there<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sharing runs in the group is essential so that the EUNICE alliance can collect activity records, celebrate
