COLLABORATION WITH INDUSTRY, GOVERNMENT AND OTHER SECTORS
In the Best Practices Report we identified 69 best practices by using literature reviews looking at University-Industry collaborations and University-Third sector collaborations. The summary of these best practices can be found in part 2.7 of this report.
Defining and formulating an Expertise Exchange Platform, conceived as a virtual “marketplace” related to Artificial Intelligence tools and their potential applications, to host ideas, solutions, sharing resources and much more. A space to address societal actors and provide opportunities.
This report presents the outcomes of Task 2.4 and Task 2.5 to date, which are the piloting of the Expertise Exchange Platform and the ensuring of the sustainanility of this platform. Since both tasks are continuous processes, this report represents their status at the time of deliverable deadline.
OPEN SCIENCE
In order to create an open science strategy for the EUNICE European university alliance, this report conducted a survey to collect information about the current situation of open science in EUNICE universities from seven representatives in the alliance.
The purpose of the document is to develop an action plan for research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) that will enable EUNICE and other transnational alliances of European Universities to collaborate and cooperate on innovative applications of AI in various fields.
HUMAN RESOURCES STRATEGY FOR RESEARCHERS
The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers Joint Action Plan is the tool developed by REUNICE project to align the strategies of the universities in the EUNICE alliance. Despite the diverse circumstances of EUNICE members, several common challenges and barriers have been identified, especially at crucial points before and during the application, and implementation phase.
The report deals with brain drain and focuses on the long-term challenge related to the movement of highly skilled labor. In addition to the status quo, a catalogue of career paths, as well as their key competences, the conditions for promoting further exchange and knowledge transfer, and finally recommendations for further educational opportunities are presented.
This is a preliminary work for the task 4.4 “Promoting talents”: before talents can be promoted, they must be identified. Apart from context on the assessment initiated at the European level (ERA Policy Agenda), a description of the EUNICE Awards to Out-standing Trajectories and its evaluation criteria can be found in this report.
This document aims to promote talents in the research & innovation sector. It focuses on research and innovation support staff, essential for research careers. It is part of Task 4.4 ‘Promoting Talents’ of Reunice, which focuses on the development and implementation of strategies to promote identified talents in research and staff diversity.
COMMUNICATION
REUNICE Communication Strategy is mainly aimed at raising awareness about the challenges faced by European Universities in terms of institutional and academia-business cooperation; and disseminate and exploit the project’s results, by engaging with different targets of interest,
Specific dissemination objectives and activities for each work package are defined in this Communication Action Plan in order to optimise the results of activities scope when addressing the different target groups.
REUNICE Diversity, Inclusiveness and gender Equality Style Manual establishes some common criteria when approaching communications on the cross-cutting theme of Reunice Project related to the values of diversity, inclusiveness and gender equality.
