ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES

The course will touch upon the most updated engineering and related issues compatible with the idea of sustainable development. The modules will concentrate on such ideas as smart cities and energy systems, intelligent houses, sustainable building, and green energy.

The programme of the course is divided into 5 main blocks.

  1. Smart cities.
  2. Smart energy systems.
  3. Sustainable building. Main characteristics and assumptions.
  4. Green energy.
  5. Intelligent houses.

Timetable:

2h online-live consultations, 1h online-live testing, 12h online self-study

  • EUNICE student: enrolled as a student of a Masters degree in one of the universities of EUNICE European University consortium (check its members here).
    • Most preferably civil and environmental engineering faculties and related fields of studies.
  • B2 level of English, most preferably MA.

Study Level: Master

  • The course participants will be selected based on criteria specified in the study guide.
  • Your home university will inform you whether you have been accepted and provide further information about the next steps.
