The Steering Committee supervised the progress of the project and studied candidates of new partner universities to extend the Alliance
Eunice Steering Committee met on 11th April in Brussels to evaluate the progress of the project and discuss the current challenges and opportunities. EUNICE is currently in the mid-way of the project and is focusing efforts in drafting the map of Joint Degrees.
The members of the Steering Committee studied candidatures to open the Consortium to new universities on the next call of proposals and discussed the long-term strategy of the Alliance, where topics related to sharing scientific and technical resources, the educational offer and credit recognition were raised.
The agenda was fixed for the next General Assembly that will gather the seven Rectors and Presidents of the alliance in June at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (Valenciennes, France). Additionally, the Committee created a task force in preparation for the roll-out of EUNICE in 2023.
The Steering Committee is the directing body at Eunice European University and is composed mainly of Vice-Rectors and other high representatives from the seven partner universities: Poznań University of Technology (Poland), Brandenburg University of Technology (Germany), University of Cantabria (Spain), University of Mons (Belgium), University of Catania (Italy), Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (France) and University of Vaasa (Finland).
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Polish National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR|BSP office) thanks to the courtesy of the Director Ewa Kocińska-Lange.
