EUNICE Board of Directors and Board of Rectors meetings to set strategic priorities for 2025
EUNICE Online General Assembly
EUNICE European University has taken significant steps in shaping its strategic direction for 2025, with two key meetings held in January. The Board of Directors convened at the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels on January 23, followed by the Board of Rectors General Assembly, which took place online on January 31. Both leadership meetings focused on advancing EUNICE’s research, academic, and collaborative initiatives, reinforcing the Alliance’s commitment to fostering innovation and institutional cooperation.
The Board of Directors finalized the EUNICE4U project work plan for 2025. The discussion on research coordination focused on strengthening institutional collaboration, involving Vice-Rectors for Research in key initiatives, and exploring funding models to support joint projects. Additionally, the Board reaffirmed its commitment to EUNICE Excellence Programmes, (international joint degrees of all level -Bachelor´s, Master´s and PhD-) prioritizing high-quality, interdisciplinary academic offerings that foster stronger institutional ties and broader access to education. A strong emphasis was placed on strategic outreach actions to enhance EUNICE’s visibility and expand its presence.
The General Assembly on January 31 provided an opportunity to validate key decisions and further align the Alliance’s goals. Among the key discussions was the composition of the Expert Advisory Board, which will play a significant role in shaping the Alliance’s strategy. Its members will provide insights and guidance to enhance academic and research priorities.
