The content of the course consists of thirteen units:

  1. Introduction to Renewable Energy Engineering and Innovation
  2. Theoretical Foundations and Technological Innovations
  3. Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies
  4. Business Perspectives on Sustainability
  5. Wind Energy: Technology and Applications
  6. Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Design
  7. Smart Grid Technologies and Electricity Markets
  8. Promoting Green Growth and Leadership
  9. Innovation Clusters and Hydrogen Technologies
  10. Overcoming Barriers and Policy Frameworks
  11. Construction and Implementation of Renewable Energy Projects
  12. Case Studies in Renewable Energy Solutions
  13. Student Presentations, Preparation for the Exams, and Sum up

The course can be delivered “Online live” (Synchronous) and “Online self-study” (Asynchronous): Weekly lectures; Assignments; Discussions; Guest instructors; Student presentations 2 hours

  • EUNICE student: enrolled as a student (Master) in one of the universities of EUNICE European University consortium (check universities here).
  • ‘Fundamentals of Engineering’ or equivalent.
  • English language
