In the English course “Tandem language exchange” participants will meet their partner to practice English. Each tandem pair will agree on topics (e.g. films, politics) and on language areas they want to focus on (e.g. fluency, pronunciation of phonemes, specific grammar forms).
ENGLISH COURSES: TANDEM PROGRAMME B1+
Learning Outcomes:
- will be negotiated based on the CEFR by each pair together with the tandem counsellor.
Objectives:
- The students will gain a degree of independence in their language learning.
- They will develop communication strategies and strategies to maintain interaction.
Assessment Methods:
- After each session, both participants upload a short description of what was covered during the meeting (eg a 1-3min video). Both participants have to sign in to confirm that the session happened.
- After the final session, the pair will reflect on the learning outcomes with the tandem tutor.
