Our entrepreneurship objectives and initiatives focus on supporting students, researchers, and early stage entrepreneurs. The aim is to develop opportunities for industrial exploitation of research and innovation outputs, connect with entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, and provide assistance in turning ideas into functioning businesses.
For that:
- We established workspaces for mentorship, educational programming, and access to investors, both virtually and physically within the EUNICE partnership.
- We host events to support entrepreneurship, ranging from innovation contests to business idea competitions within our ten partner universities.

Bussiness idea competition
The EUNICE Start Cup is a business idea competition between students of each EUNICE university. It is a key opportunity for students to get support in developing a business plan and launch a new company. Each university selected one team to compete in the final, which will take place at the University of Vaasa (Finland, Spring 2025).
