Blue Change Makers Volunteering Camp
The camp will bring together students, researchers and educators from across the EUNICE Alliance to explore aquatic ecosystems, address the challenge of litter pollution, and develop digital storytelling projects aimed at raising environmental awareness.
The volunteering camp will be jointly coordinated by the University of Cantabria (UC) and IHCantabria and will be delivered as a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), combining online and on-site learning activities.
The on-site phase is expected to take place in Santander (Spain) in June 2027, although the exact dates are still to be confirmed.
This opening call is for expressions of interest from researchers and staff from the EUNICE universities who would like to contribute to this activity.
We are currently looking for faculty members to contribute to one of the following thematic areas:
• Aquatic ecosystems, coastal and freshwater environments, and litter pollution.
• Science communication and outreach
• Video editing and social media content
Faculty participation may take different forms and will involve:

• Travelling to Santander to participate in the on-site sessions.
Travel and subsistence expenses may be covered through Erasmus+ funding, with the support of the local International Relations Offices (IROs).
