About the camp
This immersive summer volunteering camp will combine hands-on learning, nature, and cultural discovery! Over two weeks, students will take part in practical activities ranging from eco-renovation of the historic Abbey of Maroilles in France to gardening, permaculture, and foraging in Belgium. Participants will learn traditional masonry techniques, explore circular economy initiatives, discover biodiversity-friendly cultivation, and engage in workshops on sustainable housing. The program also includes guided nature walks, wildlife observation, cultural visits, and opportunities to experience the rich heritage of the Avesnois and Mons regions.
