EUNICE offers an internship platform to gain experience abroad. Students can choose from over 200 companies from all EUNICE partner countries.

EUNICE, the European University for Customised Education, provides a database for internships in other European countries with the EUNICE International Internship Portal (EIIP). Students can choose from over 200 companies and institutions to experience multicultural and multilingual work abroad.

The job advertisements are written in English and not in the lokal language, which simplifies the search. By working in an international and culturally diverse context, interns not only learn new techniques and practices, but can improve their language skills and learn about foreign countries and cultures. These global skills prepare participants for the international job market after graduation.

Numerous students have now taken advantage of the offer and found an internship abroad through the international internship database. Below we present some success stories:

“Being a foreigner gives you a plus because you get to use your communication skills and its easier to understand the clients. I had doubts about working in Spain and being a part of a company that is as big as Sener because it is intimidation for somebody who’s just graduated if you will be good enough when it comes to skills and to language barrier, but yet, from the first moment, you meet the team, you meet the collegues. We´re all from different areas, different backgrounds, different countries, gathered in one place, sharing the culture of the host. I wouldn´t think of an experience or challenge in life better than that.”

Ibtissam Alahian did an internship at Sener while studying at the University of Cantabria (Spain).

“We are an international company and we also have projects which are abroad. So a decent knowledge of the english language is very useful.”

Sören Kowalick, Electrical Engineer, started to work at Actemium (Germany) in 2016 with his bachelor thesis.

“We would be very glad to invite Applicants from anywhere in the EU. If you want to further your skills, understanding and travel a little bit – all about is possible here.”

David Gallas, research specialist at Poznan Institute of Technology in Poland.
