The job position is offered by the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU, Germany), specifically at its Language Centre. BTU Language Centre’s aim is to implement a common infrastructure and language learning programmes across all EUNICE universities by 2027 in order to facilitate and promote language learning and teaching within the EUNICE network.
Functions:
- Mapping and analysis of all language learning opportunities in all EUNICE languages
- Conception, implementation and evaluation of a research-based needs analysis with the goal of developing a joint language learning and teaching network with all EUNICE partner universities in order to promote multilingualism and mobility and thus transculturality
- Conception, development and implementation of a strategy and a quality framework or quality management system for language learning and teaching, and for the joint use of resources
- Conception, development and implementation of communication strategies to promote multilingualism, mobility and transculturality
- Coordination, moderation and documentation of regular meetings
- Acquisition of third-party funding
- Preparation of reports, analyses, plans and forecasts to ensure target-oriented management of the project
- Public relations activities
- Administrative tasks associated with the project
Location: BTU Language Centre in Cottbus, Germany
Contract: full time until 31 October 2027
Remuneration: corresponding to E 13 TV-L scale
Requirements:
- Holding a university degree as defined by the German TV-L pay scale in a subject relevant to the position (as linguistics, cultural studies, international relations, foreign language didactics, German as a foreign language, etc.).
