EUNICE Student Advisory Board -student body within the EUNICE alliance- is now member of the Conference of the Student Bodies of the Alliances, a community organised under the European Students’ Union‘s framework, following its participation in the onsite event held last November in Timișoara (Romania). This community brings together student representatives from European University Alliances: it is a space for exchanging best practices, providing feedback, and working collectively towards improving student participation in European university initiatives. As a consultative body to the European Students’ Union, the Conference plays a key role in shaping policies related to European education and student rights.
This EUNICE-ESU collaboration represents a significant step in amplifying European students’ influence and fostering dialogue on education policies, mobility, and inclusion. From now on, the EUNICE Student Advisory Board will have a louder voice in the European Student Union’s discussions about the future of the European Universities Initiative.
By being the umbrella organisation of 45 National Unions of Students from 40 countries, the European Students’ Union is key for university students to connect, at an organisational level, with student bodies from all across Europe. So, EUNICE students will not only intensitfy their engagement among EUNICE universities, but also will facilitate inter-alliance collaborations in order to help shape the future of European higher education.
