Where?

Technopark, Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France – IMTD Building, Valenciennes, France (on-site)

When?

27th to 29th June 2023

Abstract submission deadline

15th April 2023, at workshop.materials@uphf.fr

Objectives of the workshop

Gathering EUNICE scientific communities involved in material sciences and engineering including Synthesis, Characterizations, Simulation, Modeling and Application.

Functional materials are generally characterized as those materials which possess particular native properties and functions of their own. For example, ferroelectricity, piezoelectricity, pyroelectricity, thermoelectricity, acoustic, magnetism or energy harvesting/storage functions.

The major scientific scope of the workshop concerns materials science (organic, inorganic, composites…) and engineering covering the major aspects from theory, characterizations at macro and nano scale to applications such as MEMS/NEMS devices, acoustic sensors and transducers, microfluidics, flexible electronics…

Topics

  • Materials and Chemistry
  • Materials and Health
  • Materials and Energy/Environment
  • Materials and Mobility/Transport
  • Materials and Technologies
  • Etc.
