Useful IT Tools for IROs
The handbook is divided into 15 sections. Each one is dedicated to a specific tool of the daily work of the International Relations Office (IRO). In order to find the information quickly, the tools are presented in transparent tables. The most important advantages and disadvantages are listed next to the description of the tool itself. In addition, each of the tools has been examined for its use in the specific context of the IRO.
Objectives of the tool
The purpose of the Handbook on Useful IT Tools for IROs is to provide information and a summary of tools that can be used in the daily work of IROs to make it easier, smoother and more comfortable. The handbook will help IROs to be more efficient by saving time in thinking about how to improve the work by using one or another programme in the office. The composition of tables helps quickly find a tool which is necessary in a particular area.
The aim of the Handbook is to give the ideas to all the IROs about how to make their life easier!
The tool consists of a handbook containing tables on most useful IT tools chosen by IROs involved in the Peer-IR-View project.
What IRO problems will this tool solve
Due to the many duties each IRO deals with in its everyday work, the lack of time is an actual problem. The Handbook is a real time saver bringing together in one booklet all the important IT tools that can make the job easier. The proposed tools can make team communication faster and team management more efficient. Due to their characteristics, all presented tools are indispensable assistance in IRO’s daily tasks.
What does the Handbook contain?
The description of the tools together with enumerated the most meaningful advantages and disadvantages. The user of a handbook will get to know how much time they need to learn managing the tool and what are the costs of purchase. There have also been specified reasons for the usefulness of the tools for the IROs.
