“The Invisible Unveiled” is an itinerant exhibition taking place at different EUNICE universities throughout 2024. It consists of a collection of over 30 scientific pictures resulting from research projects carried out at EUNICE universities.

EUNICE European University organised the scientific photography exhibition ‘The Invisible Unveiled’, an itinerant collection of over 30 images from research projects developed in the different EUNICE universities. Beyond data and formulas, these pictures show what is usually not visible to the human eye, as cellular processes and interactions observed with powerful electron microscope lenses, or the structure of a dog’s hair, for instance.

When and Where

Universities of Mons (Belgium), Karlstad (Sweden), and Polytechnique Hauts-de-France will host ‘The Invisible Unveiled’ exhibition from 16 to 22 September, from 24 September to 4 October and from 4 to 14 October, respectively.

A Reunice Initiative

This touring exhibition was organised within the framework of EUNICE’s H2020 project Reunice. Reunice received funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement number 101035813.

This initiative, coordinated by the University of Mons (Belgium), is an opportunity for scientists to showcase their work in an artistic setting -so, different from their usual way of disseminating their projects-, and thus, to achieve greater exposure of their work and even encourage new research collaborations across the alliance. At the same time, it aims to bring research closer to the non-specialised public by touring the different EUNICE partner universities.
