EUNICE launches this initiative to foster student connections, learning by doing and professional growth
EUNICE has launched its first clubs with the objective to offer students informal organisations to become active members of the university. Any student from a EUNICE university can join. Right now, there are two clubs that students can sign up for: the Boundless Cinema Club for movie projects and the Research Student Club LEAG 2025 for solving business problems. More clubs will be launched in the near future and EUNICE is accepting ideas and new club proposals.
These clubs are not just for socialising but to engage in university life outside the classroom and boost learning through real experiences. Student clubs are an important tool to create new contacts and develop students’ interests and skills, in this case in an international environment. With the assistance of a teacher, the members of these clubs will meet outside the classroom regularly, to work online together to achieve their objectives.
These experiences will not only enrich the academic career of students but also contribute significantly to their professional development and allow them to make valuable contributions in any field, from cultural creativity to real-world problem-solving.
Boundless Cinema Club
Through online production meetings, pre-production planning, filming challenges, and post-production editing sessions, members engage in every aspect of the filmmaking process. The club also aims to produce at least one festival-quality film per year. The deadline to apply is 24 January 2025. More info: Boundless Cinema Club – EUNICE.
Research Student Club – LEAG
In this Research Club, students will work virtually from the beginning of March on the challenge posed by the German energy company LEAG to prepare a pitch with a solution to the proposed problem. The winning Research Club will be invited to work on the challenge at the LEAG’s co-working space and will have the exclusive opportunity to get to know the company from the inside. The deadline to apply is 13 February 2025. More info: EUNICE International Student Research Club at LEAG 2025 – EUNICE.
