1st EUNICE Symposium on Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Urban Planning

The “1st International EUNICE Symposium on Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning” took place on November 27 at the Brandenburg University of Technology at Cottbus -Senftenberg (Germany).

Organised by the Chair of Architecture and Visualisation of BTU Cottbus and with support of the International Relations Office, the symposium brought together international guests and local expertise. The aim was to strengthen the discourse on the core topics of the faculty for Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Urban Planning within the EUNICE alliance. The event brought together academics from the University of Vaasa (Finland) and the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (Portugal) and BTU.

Intense Dialogue

The symposium format fostered a particularly intense dialogue and in-depth expert discussions on construction challenges and common European perspectives.

The event also offered valuable added benefits for the participating students: They gained direct access to international expertise and insights into the construction and planning culture of the partner countries. The successful meeting has sustainably invigorated scientific exchange and solidified the basis for future cooperations within the EUNICE network.
