THE INVISIBLE UNVEILED
When science is art
Although modernity segments the world into several disciplines, separating art and science, researchers, inventors and artists push the limits of knowledge to express their vision of the world in their own way. Creativity and imagination fuel technological progresses to puch out the limits of detection.
The aim of The Invisible Unveiled is to propose a selection of images created from research conducted in EUNICE institutions.
The Invisible Unveiled photo exhibition already took place at some universities: 1-2 University of Cantabria (Spain), 3-4 Poznan University of Technology (Poland), and 5-6 Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany).
The Invisible Unveiled is an itinerant exhibition project coordinated by the University of Mons with the participation of several of the institutions of the EUNICE consortium. By “itinerant” it must be understood that the selection of research images included in the exhibition will be presented in each of the participating institution.
This event aims to shed light on research through the exhibition of artistic images arising from it. Indeed, scientific images can be incredibly beautiful and complex, yet often remain out of the reach of the general public.

Also, in the framework of EUNICE (and most specifically of its H2020 project Reunice), this exhibition of scientific images is an opportunity for scientists to showcase their work in an artistic setting, to gain greater exposure and recognition for their work, as well as to potentially inspire new research collaborations.
