An event by researchers and for researchers
Save the date : Tuesday, 1st April
Mardi des Chercheurs (Tuesday for Researchers) is a yearly scientific poster contest organised, in turn, by Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (France) and University of Mons (Belgium). This year, Mardi des Chercheurs will be held in Valenciennes (France). This event enables a place of exchange, where to discover the research carried out by colleagues and to trigger collaborations between people, departments or institutions.
Mardi des Chercheurs is also open to all members of EUNICE partner institutions. PhD students and researchers from EUNICE institutions who wish to participate are invited to register on the Mardi des Chercheurs website and to send a digital version of their poster (.pdf) by 1st March 2025, at the latest, to mardideschercheurs@uphf.fr. The posters will be printed by the University of Valenciennes and displayed at the venue.

Practical Information
Each poster presented will be entered in the poster competition and awarded with a prize (thematic prize and general prize for best poster). A special EUNICE price will be awarded to the best poster among the winning posters.
The main event will take place on Tuesday 1st April 2025 in Valenciennes, France.

Participants can include a QR code to an audio or video file on their poster to accompany their contribution (between 30 seconds and 5 minutes). Attendance is not mandatory for EUNICE participants, but welcome.

Show Your PhD
Show Your PhD is a competition in which you can combine your research subject with your artistic passion!
It is an opportunity for all scientists to put their artistic sensibility at the service of science: choose the medium that thrills you to popularise your research. The disciplines can be varied: drawing, painting, dancing, singing, video, music, cooking, macramé, humour… surprise us!

EUNICE participants can send a video contribution. A draft of the work in the form of a video clip or any other document describing your performance must be produced and sent before midnight on 1st March 2025 to mardideschercheurs@uphf.fr.
