The President of the National Taiwan University (NTU), Prof. Wen-Chang Chen, visited UMONS on the 10th of September to take stock of current and future collaborations with the University of Mons. During his stay, he met with Prof. Philippe Dubois, Rector of UMONS, to discuss potential collaborations between the two universities.An agreement will soon be signed.

Currently, UMONS is engaged in 11 collaborative research projects with institutions across Asia, including China, South Korea, and Cambodia, showcasing a dynamic academic environment. This commitment to international cooperation was further emphasized during the visit of the President of the National Taiwan University (NTU) on the 10th of September.

On the agenda were discussions on initiatives including student exchanges, visits by researchers and teachers, the implementation of workshops and summer schools, and the EUNICE alliance.

The National Taiwan University is Taiwan’s leading university, with over 30,000 students, soon to be a strong partner instittuion of UMONS.
