University of Catania (Italy) won the volleyball tournament. As for the e-chess tournament, it was won by Mikolaj Nowak (from Poznan University of Technology – Poland). The EUNICE Alliance Games are sports competitions among students from EUNICE partner universities that are taking place for the third time

The last week of October was filled with volleyball matches, featuring three days of sporting contests characterised by the spirit of fair play and fierce competition over the net. These days also provided students with the opportunity to integrate, meet new friends, spend quality time together, and create lasting memories for the future.
The award ceremony took place on 25 October 2023 in the sports hall of the Poznan University of Technology (Poland), attended by all the participating teams, their coaches, supervisors, and representatives of Poznan University of Technology.
At the end of the event, a cultural event unfolded, with a musical performance by Professor Brian Tomaszewski, a Fulbright scholar at Poznan University of Technology and to sing songs from the partner countries of EUNICE. It all concluded with a dance.

E-chess tournament
The EUNICE e-chess tournament took place online in November. In a live broadcast on our YouTube channel, audience from EUNICE universities were able to enjoy live comments by Lara Hernandez and Jan Kabzinski, two young chess players. The tournament was open to EUNICE staff and students. 276 games were played by 67 players. Mikolaj Nowak, winner for the second time, will receive a 320-euro voucher to fund a mobility within EUNICE countries.
