Bridge Talk Session in English

The BRIDGE TALK SESSION IN ENGLISH course “Bridge Talk Sessions in English” will support student development in such areas as communication skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills.

Upon completing this course students will be able to:

  • speak English with greater confidence,
  • describe, explain and discuss a range of topics in English which refer to the globalized world issues,
  • demonstrate the ability to understand and speak English at the CEFR B2 level.

During the course, several topics will be discussed which refer to the globalized world issues. Suggested topics for discussion:

  • environmental protection and sustainability,
  • cultural differences, communication across counties,
  • AI – new opportunities and threats,
  • healthy lifestyle and diets,
  • coping with stress,
  • dealing with conflict,
  • creativity and hobbies,
  • self-discipline and work-life balance,
  • job interview – dos and don’ts,
  • motivation and grit,
  • language learning strategies.

Timetable:

Online self-study course. Kick-off online live meeting on 25 March 2026 at 17:00 CET. Final-remarks online live meeting at the end of the course.

  • EUNICE students: those enrolled as bachelor’s or master’s degree students in one of the universities of EUNICE European University consortium (check its members here).
  • B2 level of English according to the CEFR levels.
