GLOBAL STUDIES IN UNCERTAIN TIMES -Summer School

Organised by the University of Cantabria (Spain), Global Studies in Uncertain Times: Identifying Challenges, Proposing Solutions is an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme. It is a hybrid course hat combines online learning and onsite lectures that will be delivered in Santander (Spain) in English language.

Objectives:

Understanding globalization and its different dimensions, Identifying the concepts associated with globalization, encouraging the use of information management tools for permanent updating, and developing a critical spirit and reasoned discussion in matters related to global studies.

Learning outcomes:

Negotiating (conflict treatment and cooperation), interpreting the intervention of economic, cultural and social agents, and learning the process of economic and social internationalisation.

Virtual component: 2 – 30 June 2025. Materials available on EUNICE Moodle.

Onsite sessions: lectures on 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 July 2025 + cultural activities. Venue: Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Cantabria. 56, Los Castros Ave. Santander (Spain). With lecturers from 4 EUNICE universities and from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (USA).

This course may be recognised with 3 ECTS. Consult with your local EUNICE office for more information.
