Italian for Beginners (A1.1) 26-27 S1 (Language course)

During this course the student will learn the very basic words and phrases of Italian in different everyday situations:

• Greetings
• Numbers-telling the time, prices
• Most common phrases connected to studying: library, lectures, official functions, socializing, life on campus
• Everyday practical situations: shopping, food, going to a café/restaurant/bar etc.

They will also get information about Italian culture and society:

• How do we talk to people (formal vs. informal)?

National idiosyncrasies: Holidays

Self-study: 36 hours of self-study through reading and listening activities, tasks and a variety of exercises including grammar.

Syncronous sessions: (14 hours) which will take place online once a week (Germany, CET time) on:
