Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) are an innovative international learning experience that combine online collaboration with a short-term physical mobility at one of EUNICE’s partner universities. They bring together students and staff from different countries to work on shared academic challenges in a truly European environment.
Unlike traditional exchange programmes, BIPs allow participants to enjoy the benefits of international mobility in a more flexible and accessible format, combining virtual learning activities with an intensive on-site component. This approach promotes intercultural exchange, collaborative learning and the development of both academic and transversal skills.
BIPs are designed and delivered jointly by several EUNICE universities, offering participants the opportunity to work with peers and lecturers from across Europe while earning academic recognition in the form of ECTS credits, subject to their home university’s regulations.
