Fit4Future Summer School 2026 “The Circular Urban Turn – Towards Zero-Waste Cities and Regions”

A collaboration between BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany), Université Polytéchnique Hauts-de-France (France), University of Vaasa (Finland), Karlstad University (Sweden).

This Blended Intensive Porgramme (BIP) brings together students at different levels (bachelor, master, PhD) as well to engage in discussions and pathways for transformative action to face complex change in their regional contexts.  Problem-based learning, hybrid (online and in-person) learning and flipped classroom approach.

Timetable:

Online: 2-hour session in May, June, July, August 2026

Kick-off online session: 29.05.2026, 15:00 CET

Onsite: 7-11 September 2026 in Cottbus, Germany

• Being enrolled as EUNICE student.
• B2 English
• Experience in the field is appreciated but not required.

Study Level: Bachelor, Master, PhD

• If you are a EUNICE student, please contact the International Relations Office at your home university for applications and mobility grants.
• If you are a BTU student, please send your application by 5 May (rosalver(at)b-tu.de) and provide the following information:
  • CV (Max. 2 pages in Tabular form)
  • Motivation statement (video): We invite you to submit a 1-minute video statement briefly sharing who you are, study course and semester, why this course interests you, and how you would engage in the programme. We value authenticity — informal recordings are perfectly fine; no editing is required, and especially no AI-generated scripts.
